Reminds me nearly of Eric Pickles, though I can't remember if on the couple of times I met him any members of the public were there for him to try schmooze. His nature didn't match his politics. Probably of the MPs, Alan Milburn was best at charming everyone and with so little effort. And people loved him. David Blunkett possibly a close second, though I wonder how much of that was because he was also instantly recognisable. |

Trump told by judge if he continues to violate gag order he will be thrown in the clink. If I was his lawyer I’d be working on how to get him out of that one because the man is incapable of behaving like a rational human being. |

Trump should already be in the clink, if you or I had mouthed off as much, we'd have been in there for sure.

Reported last week that the Secret Service are in discussions as to how they can protect his sorry ass when he is in jail. Jeez what a job.

Cc ant they just put him in solitary? No risk to anyone or from anyone, except himself? (And feed him through a small hatch in the door because they lost the key?) |

There seem to be differing views on whether the Secret Service are obliged to continue to protect a jailed president. The US system is crackers.
