Ah the "I don't believe experts" argument. And as I pointed out, with actual evidence the other day - if you remove the media hype, the median predictions were more or less spot on. Ok. believe your favourite Kwitter's economist, Patrick Minford: "Over time, if we left the EU, it seems likely that we would mostly eliminate manufacturing, leaving mainly industries such as design, marketing and hi-tech. But this shouldn’t scare us." |

Andrea Leadsom. You mean the person that literally invented jobs on her CV to make her look better in the 2016 leadership contest. And the person that the civil servants had to sit down and explain climate change to using crayons and a colouring book when she moved in at Defra? (she previously was a climate change denier). |

Ivan Rogers has been saying exacltly the same things about trade and trade deals since well before the referendum. Both before (memos leaked) and after he was forced to resign from the civil service.

TMW - I literally quoted the Kwitters pet economist. You have never once backed up a single one of your passive agressive statements and consistently resort to ad hominen attacks. Regularly on me, but also on others (see yesterday on Happy). I don't know why you are even on this webiste. I conclude you are nothing but a troll. I will not speak to you further. I just wish there was a way of blocking you. |

Seeing lots of stories about (particularly) EU citizens that have been denied the right to vote, despite them registering correctly and sending off the form that they have to do that declares they aren't voting in another country. Very worrying. |

What about the story of a Brexit party teller being attacked at a polling station? Or is it ok for only one’s political enemies to be attacked? I wonder where the fringe which celebrate and do the milkshaking draw the line, bricking someone’s windows, pushing someone off a bike, shooting a politician. Kinder and gentle politics as the terrorist lover said. Frankly I think the EU elections are illegal and should not be happening and I will be politely reminding the teller of this later on today, I won’t need a balaclava or a milkshake to do so. |

Illegal? Would you care to explain why you think this?

My Spanish wife has got her polling card, although it felt like it was being cut a bit fine. What's that quote about ascribing to malice that which can be explained by incompetence? And whilst I entirely disagree with TMW about the legality of these elections, they weren't expecting to have to hold them. |
