I did my NENYD as well at Higginson, Marlow. Good to bump into Goofee resplendent in his Fetch tee as well. Nice fast course and not too congested. Was a lovely morning.

Little bit of muddy cross-country included in today's Leicester Victoria parkrun, normally all on tarmac. A detour across the grass was needed where the council are pratting about taking forever to finish off a cycle path across the park.
I don't like mud anyway, and currently have a dodgy foot that didn't like the uneven surface at all. Still, better that parkrun went ahead rather than being cancelled.

Thank you Daisy and Dvorak, should make your replies into one of the FAQ that’s helpful.
Feeling antsy today because wife was out early so I couldn’t parkrun with the kids in the house. Was feeling fit and up for a pb attempt too.

was just looking where I might get a parkrun in over the Xmas holidays and saw that there’s an event at Pwllheli now.
6 volunteers, 2 runners yesterday 😲

Apparently the padlock to the area where we keep all our kit was changed without our knowledge - yesterday's RD discovered this at 8.11am but still managed to put on the event - probably helped by the fact that he's a PE teacher and has a ready supply of cones at his house!

Another quiet one depending on where you're staying is Pont y Bala, that is quick though, three cone turhs, apart from that flat and flat out.
