That's the frustrating thing I'm doing nothing different! I do sweat an awful lot which does maybe make me focus more on fluid intake on a warm day and clothes are normally White when I've finished which makes me wonder is it my sodium levels? On Sunday at around 15 miles I knew my stomach wasn't releasing the fluids and only sipped from then on in water I also took pins and needles in fingers at around that time too?

I got really sick at Brighton on Sunday. I was making frog burpy sounds and felt very dizzy. Seems like it was Gatorade. I had to walk as I thought I would projectile vomit if I carried on running. It seems that with all the excitement and extra effort, sometimes marathons make me go into shock!!!! Even with drinking on the way, sometimes I can't do a wee for 48 hours afterwards. It is much worse if it is hot. Sometimes when I do a hard hill or interval session I vomit afterwards too, but I think that is more normal. I reckon as I get fitter the problem is getting less bad. I expecting it to resolve soon. Hope your problem does too.

It sounds as though you are being completely sensible with fluids during the race
I cant do heat either
When we run hard, the blood doesnt go to our digestive tract and it shuts down
maybe you just need to slow down in hot weather.I know i can add a good 40 min to my mara times if its hot

Just a thought but there were some notices about raised pollution levels last weekend.

All the hydration comments sound eminently reasonable but wonder whether the air quality could be a contributory factor?
Might have been a press overreaction.
