Been to the tip. This is quite exciting, it was only OH's second visit in pretty much his entire lifetime. I'm getting him trained up ready for full retirement next summer.

I don’t think I have ever been to the tip without K. I make him drive because I hate reversing the car there (and most places, but especially there as there are so many things, people, etc in the way)

But doesn't Mastermind come to an end when/if you get to the bottom of the tray thing and the guesser hasn't worked it out? Or am I thinking of the wrong game? I'm thinking of this one: en.wikipedia.org Best of three, job done?

halfpint of mulled cider
Mince pies and florentines baked. Sadly neither came out as well as hoped. Edible but not good enough to take to work. Our oven seems to be hotter than it should as I tend to end up with over fired items. I think I will do another batch of each and turn oven down a bit.

Yes, LD, but he hasn't got a clue re strategy yet, and I'm trying to make it a positive experience :-)

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
