They were lucky that the persona non grata had one of the front desks in the four-up cook off, made them easier to edit out with not being in the background of someone else. Looked like it happened after the decision time, that sequence seemed to have been re-filmed/re-sequenced. Scott had a poor day, I wonder how the other one got on? We'll never know...
