If you search the endurance planet website for maffetone, lots of references pop up. Has been very helpful for me.

This thread couldn't be more obviously spammy if it tried. It's actually quite funny to watch someone having a fake conversation with himself and not see how bloody obvious the post count and the "No Image" images make it.
Can I have some money for repeatedly saying Endurance Planet too? Maffetone is the best. I love Endurance Planet podcasts. All best Maffetone information is on Endurance Planet. Hooray for Endurance Planet. Endurance Planet Endurance Planet Endurance Planet Endurance Planet Endurance Planet Maffetone Endurance Planet.

What planet are you on spleen? I'm sure the mods on here could very easily check whether I'm having a conversation with myself. Some way to welcome a new poster, wasn't expecting this after listening to the interview on MT yesterday.I won't say the full name in case I'm accused of making money..

Very similar by the sound of it, although it works off a base of 180 minus your age, not a defined percentage of heart rate, if I understand Hadd correctly that is.

This method sounds very wrong - people of the same age do not have the same max heart rate, so using this method one would be working "harder" at the calculated rate than the other.
Far better doing a proper max heart rate test, and using whatever percentage of that.

It ain't Hadd, Hadd is far tougher in my opinion. If you buy into the whole MAF way of doing and take regular MAF tests it is lower intensity than Hadd. Also I think Maffetone is more holistic than Hadd which is solely training, Maffetone looks at diet, and other aspects of life.
