Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Don't think I would have tumbled them - I usually hang socks and techie gear to dry. (and try not to use the electricity gobbling dryer anyway ..). Anyone tried the Moremile London sock? I heard someone say they were a good cheaper alternative. Although I do get that saying in my head ' buy cheap & buy twice'!!

Great number of options, thanks. Get paid Friday so will invest in some more expensive ones that will hopefully last a good deal longer than my usual efforts.

Runbreeze socks. Been a god send in the last few months. No sore feet on long runs and no blisters. Also use more miles socks. I used to use twin skin sports sock from Sainsburys but they were giving me blisters and sore feet on long runs.

I like more mile socks and v cheap at the minute. Probably don't last as long as others but at £2 a pair if you buy 10 you can't really go wrong. Don't like the more mile compression socks though as the foot shape is all wrong.

Ooh, on the basis I love my Saucony shoes...

Findind some decent deals on a few of those mentioned, so might get a few different pairs and do some experimenting.

And another brand...

Wright socks. Runners Need used to stock them and they're ace. when RN stopped stocking them I switched to Hilly twin skin and got blistered immediately. I now buy my Wright socks from manufacturer in the US in packs of ten pairs! wrightsock.co.uk also have them but don't appear to have the full range of styles & colours.

I'm going to narrow it down to whatever RunnersNeed is stocking tomorrow. As thanks to Wine Legs' thread I can get 30% off. Seems sensible.
