Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Let's talk about inaugural parkruns after they've happened.

Ashford link added. Ponty is just a bit far for a day trip for me :-( In other news, got a shout out on the parkrun show podcast twitter bit this week...I genuinely did get a bug in my eye - and it was stinging as I tried to wipe it out with a sweaty finger!

I am currently injured -- I wonder if I'll be recovered in time for Tonbridge's opening day?

Hoping to get up to Ponty too! Pontypool Parkrun now has a facebook page, I've not heard of a start date yet, there's a few more rumoured for South Wales but not sure if they're just rumours!

Another 'long-term-heard-on-the-grapeline' one is Lyme Park in Disley (South Manchester/Derbyshire way). It's another National Trust one and should be lovely.......

About This Thread

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
