Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Today was supposed to be a rest day for me, but i decided to run three loops around Witton Park with the Missus in the pouring rain!. This was mostly XC with some trails and a touch of concrete just to sharpen up the legs. My calf muscle on my right leg is giving me some jip, and at times it felt difficult to place any pressure on at all. It did improve after the first lap, but the biggest headache is dodging people with their dogs not on leads and the constant dog shit that you are constantly stepping around. Arrived home simply soaked to the bone, not a bad feeling and a hot shower makes it all worthwhile.
I will take a rest tomorrow in the event that if i am fit i will race on Sunday.

ok, I decided to enter a 9 mile race as I wanted to do this one last year but was nowhere nearly up to 9 miles at that time, couldn't let it pass me by this year. :-)
