Good, despite wind and rain. Wrapped up warm for a change and ran with a mate. Out along the canal: the trees, the ducks; the gardens and fields, the World's Only Rotating Boat Lift...

Wet and windy 8.6m. I loved it though

A bit warm really.
Exactly 4 miles, exactly 32 minutes. Followed by a half hour uphill walk to work from the gym, in the rain.
Bad hair day.

Ultra Kazzaaaaah!!
Most peculiar! Felt dead as a dodo - tired (didn't sleep well cos of the wind howling down the chimney), legs heavy and sore, normally can do a reasonable pace for 4/5 miles on no brekkie but just lacking in zip today. Wasn't surprised at 8.47 for the first mile, 7.34 for the second mile surprised me a bit! Overall did the 4.13 miles in 34.08 compared to last Thursday's effort of 35.41 (when I felt a lot fresher and bouncier!).

Ultra Kazzaaaaah!!
My speed work has been going pretty well mx. Don't know about the mara but am hoping that I can make some dents in the shorter stuff this summer. Got a five miler a few weeks after FLM and a 10 miler the following weekend - be my first attempts to try some speed stuff.
