8.3km in the cold rain..... Training session 22 of 80 for the MK half marathon in March (doing Runkeeper training) - I think I am coping although I have missed one session due to family emergency (a 40 min fartlek...) I am sure I will make up for it!

Lovely and sunny 4m recovery run. A nice bit of contrast after yesterday's wintry weather.

7 miles in the Pentland Hills with 1500ft of climbing. White with frost, icy, glorious sunshine. All good

8 or so miles on a new route with a friend, exploring. Lots of potential in a new area, so will be back. A lot of it was overgrown.

I woke up feeling frisky so set out on a new route. About 4k in, my knee started to hurt but I thought if I could get to the main road, I could hitch a lift back. No luck! First of all, no traffic at all for ages; then noone stopped. I was a bit surprised and thought that I obviously looked like a forlorn runner and not exactly a threat to anyone but maybe it is not the done thing round here.

Great to get out and do 10 miles. Furthest non-race mileage for a while.
