Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Zippy! Did my 5km training loop in 30.15 - fastest I've ever run it - just felt like seeing how long I could keep up the pace.

Did 3 miles on Friday as that's all I could manage. Got a chesty cough at present but went any anyway and it nearly killed me. Could barely stand by the end of it as I just couldn't catch my breath.

5 miles earlier but still off form and a couple of coughing fits whilst running.
Having to take far more breaths than usual and even then these are rather laboured.
Some nice girls out running as well of which 2 out of 4 acknowledged me. Actually had the wind on my back for a while as well........over 10 minutes of that in 4-5 years of running!

Nice and varied - met friend for a mixture of grass, down a long hill on the pavement then back up it via a parallel trail, then finished with about 2 miles barefoot on grass.

Fairly evil 20 miles on a treadmill in preperation for a treadmill mara - Hot, boring, tough, ( made tougher as my last run of any distance was last October whoops! ), stomach issues at mile 16, and a spectacular lossage of bowel contents ( sorry ) at the end. Sore and tired now.

Not bad after I got over the original shock. why I thought the Stortford 10 would be a flat road race, I don't know, but it was a quite hilly quite off-road race. And after getting over starting too fast, I quite enjoyed it, I must say.

Pretty good - ran a hilly off-road course I've run a couple of times before, and this time was 7 minutes quicker.
