Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sir Pabsey - Knight of Fetch
my middle toe's has been sore since last weekends half and its really bad after todays run. It feels like I've broken it. :(

So todays run was not good in that respect.

Oh, I've got a blister on the top of the toes next to it as well just to make things worse.

Very hilly. The people who said Marlow half marathon is a tough one were not too far wrong (allegedly 6th toughest half marathon in this country). My legs were very tired before the start of the race as I have done an incredible amount of exercise in the two weeks since Abingdon marathon, with all the challenges going on in the gym at the moment. My time today was 1:42:20, not such a good time for a half marathon for me, but one that I am quite pleased with considering that not only were my legs already very tired, but also I didn't feel very well at all when I got up this morning. I nearly went straight back to bed, but as I am so short of money, I didn't want to see the race entry fee go to waste. Crazy, I know, but that's me. However, it was worth it, as I won a spot prize, which was a box of chocolates.

I felt better after the race and wanted to watch the West Ham v Arsenal game, but as we don't have Sky, the only place I could think of was to go to the gym to watch it on the big screen. I couldn't really just go to the gym to watch the TV without doing any exercise, so I sat on an exercise bike near the big screen for 1 hour 50 minutes and pedalled my way to 47.5k towards one of the gym challenges. I suspect my legs might complain a bit tomorrow. It was all worth it as West Ham won.
