Hard work, I went with the fatest group and did a Pyramid Fartlek session. Struggled to keep up, but just about managed. Felt good afterwards though. The 4 minute efforts were hard work trying to keep at about 5 min mile pace.

That'll be because 5 min mile pace is flipping fast, Blister!!!

I'm with you there BB. Are you mad Blister???;)
Another Fartlek/interval type session for me. Is it bad to do two in a row??? I did it yesterday as well then my running buddy wanted to do a session tonight so I joined her. Quite liked the short sprints I am getting a lot faster at them. I still tend to go too fast on the longer sections though.

Blister that is just crazy nuts - I can't even sprint that fast.
JJ - yes as a rule it is - shouldn't do two hard sessions in a row, but it won't hurt every now and then.

JJ - two in a row is probably pushing it. High risk of injury
After my tough hill session on the treadmill last night I have chosen another tough session today....
A chicken burger, couple of glasses of red wine, and tub of cokkie dough Ben & Jerry's ice cream. JJ - do these two sessions suit eachother?

The thing is Hendo, I was struggling to keep up with the last runners in the group!
Bath has some very good runners.
