Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Abbey 10k at Ramsey near Peterborough, lovely organisation, bit warm outside, nice race memento (metal running shoe with race name and date on the side). Think I might have run it fast too!

abbey 10k ramsey near peterborough also!! loved the memento- hated the race- i felt like shit from the start - heavy legs- and my belly was swishing about my runnign partner from the club could here it- at about 5 or 6k i thought i wanted to throw up (thats never happened to me before)...a mum from the school overtook me at about 7km which pissed me off haha (she beat me by min and half last year at this race- but my 10k time is now a minute or so faster than hers so i wanted to beat her ) hahaa im not normally so competative!!!
i think the 6.3 mile club run was a bad idea as my legs not in a good mood and they never warmed up
last year was my 1st ever 10k her in 104.43 today i got 58 30 but i wanted 56 :(

That man from March
A steady 4.5 miles cross country run to try and help me recover from the beer I drank while watching the football last night. Warm but nice to run with no cars and dog walkers about.
