Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

8.2 miles in the sun. Legs a little tired from 11 last night, but good all the way round.

second time out since Brighton, my trainers actually feel more or less the right size again now - I swear my feet grew a size during the marathon. can't quite get my head round how 4 miles feels quite a long way again when a few weeks ago I'd have thought it easy peasy lemon squeezy

Glorious, warm, sunny and it involved trees and woodpeckers and a big shaggy German Shepherd, although no actual sheep.

HiMoz
Went for a run with my housemate who works on the run till your eye balls pop out of your head training technique . I decided a nice fast run wouldn't do any harm with all the sub 70%WHR training I've been doing and a few positives came as a result. Firstly my housemate bottling out at mile 5, in the 3-4 months I've been running he has been consistently faster than me, his lapse in training of late made for a rather satisfying turn of events :p Secondly I recorded a new HRmax of 197, compared with my previous 192 so I can up my pace a bit in the HR controlled runs. Finally I recorded my fastest 10k time of 49.28. I was doubting coming close to a sub 50 in manchester on the 16th so this certainly shakes things up a bit.
Overall pretty damn good!
