Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Fab 5.5 miles in forest. Very wet and muddy, sun out, light breeze and not too cold, purfik I think.

Ran with Bompey and our boy child on his bike with his cuz on bike as well.

Some plonker on a mountain bike zipped past me on a narrow bit and pissed me off so I caught him up and flew past him on an uphill section. Left him panting trying to catch me up but he couldn't. Felt much better after that !!!

That man from March
A nice steady 10 miles - shame it rained for part of the run. Now taking it fairly easy ahead of the VLM.

FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC!!!!!!!! 16 miles, in 2hours 47, but ran the whole way (except one walk whilst running partner was watering the countryside). Furthest I've ever run (time and distance). Still short of where I need to be but for the first time since I started training back in October I know actually believe that I will make ever one of those bloody 26.2 miles around London in three weeks. I'll be f*ck*d afterwards. But I'll finish!

I'm sure you will Stander. Good luck :)

It hailed on me today. I actually laughed out loud because it was so ridiculous and my jacket stayed in my rucksack. Hail.... in April... whatever next? :p

I got hailed on too. This was shortly before I started swearing at the wind. Yes, i had an argument with the wind, mid-run. How can you be running into the wind, turn 90 degreees, and still be running into the wind?

That was the crux of my argument with the wind.

Wind does not do arguing it seems, just more wind.
