Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Cold, wet, and windy, but it didn't bother me in the slightest. I'm just glad to be running again.

Bit peeved though that I tore my FLM rain jacket when I ran too close to a wall with a nail sticking out when avoiding a very large and deep puddle. Should have just run through it. :(

Wet cold. But beat my PB - although not a big acheivement as this was only my second ever half marathon.

More chuffed that despite the weather and the hills (Roding Valley) the second half of the graph from the Garmin looks much better than the second half from the Great Bentley HM. In both races I ran non-stop for the first 7 miles but in the last 6 miles this time you can see that there were walking breaks in between the running rather than the other way around.

Hard first half as it was mainly uphill and picked up 2 lovely blisters by mile 3 but still not a bad run, had plenty left in the tank come the end which is encouraging! :)

Slooow 12 miles. Wasn't meant to be slow, but it was! Plenty other training going on today, so probably good I haven't gnackered myself first.
