Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Pewsey HM - our 193rd in 2:09

Today we travelled to Pewsey in Wiltshire to compete in our 193rd HM together, we clocked a satisfying and reasonably comfortable 2:09 - I thought not bad Considering I haven’t run for 2 weeks,

I felt tired and shattered from the moment I got up, drove down there prepared ,ran and changed down after - yes it was satisfying

Met some great people today - RFJ - Zoom - Dave, sorry if I’ve forgotten people

The race went fairly quickly, the first 3 miles was over rapidly despite the undulations, then came the long drag at 4 , which we just pootled up without a care in the world - we moved on through the miles, bit at a time, but before I knew it we were sadly at 10 miles, knowing we were on the way home

So we just paced quietly through the last 2.5 miles climb to the last ½ mile down hill finish, we enjoyed it all,

I would have liked to have felt more awake and with it to be honest , but it just didn’t happen

Never mind - Onwards
