half an hour round greenwich park.
Spent most of the time dodging small children.
Really should've taken some water.

Forest Runner
I don't know why, but I felt I struggled with my 12 mile (11.72 to be precise) run today. I finished work at 2 and wanted to run from the gym, but get back within 2 hours with enough time to freshen up so that I could watch the football (wish I hadn't bothered now) on the big screens in the gym.
I didn't look at my watch and ended up averagin 8:20 per mile, whereas I should have been running 8:45, but 8:20 for less than 12 miles should have been no problem at all. I hope for better runs next week.

Alice Holt Forest 10k - beautiful scenery, some tough hills and a lot of heat. Felt great to be out, even nicer to share it all with Char. She ran a blinder today!

9.2 mile at an easy pace but with a belly full of a 3 course meal. Note to self: Don't eat Scallops, roast pork with trimmings and bread and butter pudding 3 hrs before the great south. Felt like I was dragging another person around attached to my waist
