9.4 miles with 3150ft and over 100 other runners in a fell race (not technically today - it was yesterday afternoon). Eleven minutes faster than last year and felt good, despite having (another) cold. Brutal first 2.5 miles with about 2000ft of climbing (on all fours at times), but was flying after that and picked up quite a few places over the next hour. And even finished before the rain started as a bonus.

Made it one mile, then it THREW IT DOWN! and I mean threw it down, I was soaked through, rain pouring into my eyes, down my legs into my trainers, my headphones stopped working and I was worried my spanking new Creative Zen 32GB MP3 player (although under my montane jacket) was next! So I ran back home - 2 miles done - 15 planned :-s
But not to worry, I shall do them tomorrow and re-jig my P&D plan
