Nice and easy today. Just three miles at a slow speed as I have the Dartford half marathon tomorrow. My schedule had 7 miles at marathon pace today and 14 miles slow tomorrow, but I will probably do tomorrow's race at MP, with a two mile slow warm up first.

Though I'd give fell running a go today round Edale in Derbyshire. Felt great going up and across but the down gave me some serious knee pain leading to an ice cold bath when i got home.

1st run along the valley, without major hills - nice, but a lot more traffic than used to - normally the odd tractor in the country lanes and the odd pheasant scaring the c**p out of me.

I don't know yet. In fact I don't know if I'm going to go for a run today. Mrs.B is not being very supportive to say the least. Me going running is just too much trouble.

I had a crap race yesterday Gobi. I have been trying too hard though, I'm resting for two days - I ache all over and feel really knackered...
As you say, shit happens

What's happening guys?
I had a good race today, even though the time for a second succesive half marathon is in my worst 5 times (out of 39). The reason for that is that I ran the races at marathon pace and thoroughly enjoyed today's one.
