club run. Slightly slower than usual but that suited me as i had two races at the weekend and a run before footy last night. Love running the hills around Durham.

Lovely frosty lunchtime run through the fog on the cycle path from Paisley. Avoided my office christmas party and felt great into the bargain.

Simply one of the most beautiful sun rise mornings for a run I can remember. I run down by the Southend seafront, along the Thames. The water was calm and silver blue, same as the sky, the sun was a pale red disc which changed to an intense fiery orange towards the end of the run. The water was calm, and the sun's reflection stretched all the way across the calm water towards me and the beach as I ran. Even the sand had frost on it. I saw this woman who was just standing there watching the sun and the sky. It was wow!

Will update for yesterday: A beautiful run from my office, to the Thames and along the towpath. Passed St Pauls, London Eye, National Theatre/South Bank, Tate, Millenium Bridge, Golden Hinde, HMS Belfast, London Dungeon, Globe THeatre, Tower Bridge, Tower of LOndon. The wintry sun/slight mist showed our great capital city at its finest. Glorious. I love this route, though some bits get a bit crowded and you have to weave.
Still working back after injury so easy paced but even that felt laboured after 4 miles.

Very very cold at -8.5 when I set off, but a great 11 mile run into the hills and round Drumlanrig Castle. Didn't see a single soul; only a cutie squirrel, a scarpering rabbit and a field of cows The Fetch beanie is fab btw ...
