Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thou art a hero, Blackers!

The FE log does inspire me. I don't know why but I took the whole thing so much more seriously when I discovered this site.

Side question: Why do you prefer kms?

Well done Blackers. 400K is mega. I did a record at 175 miles, which is about 280k.

Just done a 4.5m plod - legs are a bit shot after last night's 9 miler. Two races this weekend - don't bet on a PB in either!!

Still, feeling good about Chicago. I WILL PB there. 3 hours may not be going down, but 3:10 is

Brilliant Blackers, well done! :-)

The training logs really help. Plus of course the great support you get from fellow Fetchers.

Marathon training has spurred me on a bit too, I have to say. I managed 279 miles for August which is th emost I have ever run in a month.

Can't believe it but I think my trainers are about shot after 4 weeks or so! :-)

Nike ir Perseus, they are starting to feel a bit flat already. I know it's quite early but not impressed with them to be honest...They have a bit more left in them but will be binned after the marathon nxt week...

Don't get me wrong, they have been really comfortable shoes but they don't seem to be lasting too long....
