Indeed Auburnette that is good news!

I am still coughing like a good un :( Pulled another muscle on Sat evening and have woken up in the night a few times unable to breathe... I am also wheezing between coughs.

I dont feel at ill though, and the cough is getting less frequent so I am hopeful that it is on the way out. It just sounds dreadful and I look like I am choking every time it strikes which is a bit distressing for those around me. I got asked a few times on the weekend if something had gone down the wrong way :-O

Well my cough landed me in A & E last night...seriously painful ribs and struggling to breathe.

Anyway, despite hypoxia which led to them making noises about blood clots in lungs it seems that I have one of:
bruised ribs, fractured rib or pleurisy

All of which require strong painkillers, soft massage, ice and gentle moving around and 6-10 weeks to fully heal. The doctor was lovely, but didnt actually hear me coughing so no treatment for that in itself. I am allowed to restart training when the pain levels allow, but for now easy walking only.

Ruddy cough.

Owch, curly!

It does get better, although mine began on the 2nd Jan and I still have the remnants and the occasional coughing fit. I also did something to a rib.

Hope you feel better soon :-(

Will do PH - I need them to take the edge off the pain so I can move around anyway! They also suppress my cough it seems :)
