Does anyone have any tips for warm gloves? Ideally cheap too. I seem to be really struggling this winter. Thanks

Decathlon glove with Mitt. Cheap as chips and mitf part makes a *massive* difference in sub zero, wet and/or wind. G'luck! :-) G

I’ve just bought some decathlon merino ones that are pretty good, but not waterproof. Thinking some kind of overglove or mitten might help. I have Reynolds so get very cold hands & often use chemical hand warmers for long runs

As compartmentalised says layers help. You don't need your hands so full on ski mitts if it's -20C!

I wear relatively inexpensive Ron Hill gloves if below 5 degrees. My hands really feel the cold even if the rest of me is warm. I may wear a second pair if necessary but unlikely.

Thanks HappyG / All. Good info. I like the look of those decathlon ones. Sorry, I did do a search before posting but nothing came up, but that must be my incompetence.

I have Sealskinz ones, don't remember what I paid but it's unlikely they were cheap - Sealskinz stuff never is. I think I got them in Cotswold Outdoor or maybe Snow+Rock.

Warm enough without being overly bulky, touchscreen friendly, the only drawback is that they're not quite as breathable as I'd like. Not a problem if they stay on but if I wear them for a while, then get too hot and stuff them in a pocket, then later get cold and put them back on, the retained moisture inside the gloves can be a bit cold!
