Sigh
I have a rather odd situation. It seems that an old Fetchie, who no longer logs any training on the site, is still in the Fetchpoint game - so every time I run I get to infect their bugs, I benefit from twice the amount of gems etc, and in return I get no risk of them taking them before me or returning the infection. The leaderboard properly shows the local density to me as "0". When I rejoined the game in November I was the only one around, so I can only assume that at some point they've logged onto the site for the first time in a while and that's rejuvenated their participation. |

Similarly, I have an almost neighbour who is sometimes active (so my density is then 1), and sometimes is not (when my density becomes 0). I see it as an artefact of the game, like dragging a bug out of the circle even if you go through it after returning to the circle. |

Jerboa, one other thing to check is your home point for fetchpoint.

Just finished an EPIC Fetchpoint walk - 7+ miles and 13 bugs squished! Very cold and tired now but at least I'll get a bug bonus tomorrow for the first time in ages ![]() |

That was a very productive Fetchpoint walk Little Nemo. Now you'll have only one bug to squish tomorrow. ![]() |

The last few posts have solved a mystery for me. My wife is signed up to fetchpoint but a very irregular user of the site. I have often wondered why her density is 1 and mine is 0. Obviously her account recognises my active account but mine doesn't recognise her (mostly) inactive account.
