Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Finally able to up the walking a bit so I'm on the dragon's tail. Will hopefully sneak into the checkpoint ahead. Also considering swimming next week. This sacrilege may not get beyond the contemplation stage though.

Never been to Bexley Heath before. I'm sure it's lovely, but it looks a bit run down from where I am. Sorry to any Bexley Heathers out there. :-)

I got through CP2 of the bike challenge this morning, and if I can get myself out for 3 miles run/walk later today, I'll also get to CP1 of the run/walk challenge today. I like symmetry. :-)

In the past few challenges, I have tried to spot myself. That means the real me is in the same location as the virtual me. For that to happen I really have to run in the opposite direction: if I run in the same direction I can't overtake myself. I have been close but that means out by a day or so as the route hasn't been close to my house and I have had to take chances when visiting other places.

This time the route passes really close to my house: in fact anywhere between Great Missenden and Thame is in my "patch" so I should have 3 or 4 chances to make it happen.
