Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I am celebrating a mahoosive decluttering effort today (tons of ancient unnecessary papers shredded or relocated to the recycling bin) by decluttering the fridge - I'm halfway through a bottle of vino! Cheers! Hic!

finally sold a bedroom set which consisted of chest of drawers, bedside drawers and a single headboard on gumtree. £75 in the pot and some space cleared in my dining room :-)

also started clearing out the garage at the weekend and went through my running / exercise kit. result was 2 ikea bags full and dropped off at the charity shop. they will soon know me by name!

Well done you two. Having this thread pop up every now and then reminds me we still need to do a massive sort out. When I am back home I think I am going to book a guy to come and do some work in the kitchen. We will have to sort and then decorate it and that will be a good start, all the rooms need doing.

I was talking last night to a friend who's selling jumble to raise money for charity, and realised that we've got very little of that sort of clutter to donate.

Our clutter is mostly paperwork (home stuff and work stuff) that needs sorting and for some of it shredding. Oh and bloody bike stuff, new frame and bars in lounge, new rims to make wheels in office, wheel building stuff in office, mitts, lights, etc etc!

".... This month, each of you must get rid of one thing on the first day. On the second, two things. Three items on the third. So forth, and so on. Anything can go! Clothes, furniture, electronics, tools, decorations, etc. Donate, sell, or trash. Whatever you do, each material possession must be out of your house—and out of your life—by midnight each day."
