Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've said before @cackleberry - It's amazing how people can be out in a £60,000+ motorhome, a tent for a few hundred pounds or everything in between and are still technically getting the same holiday at the same place.

I never understood why those in fully fitted motorhomes use the washing up facilities, or the loos in the night.
I get it with a campervan, but as a previous tent camper those are the two things I didn't want to be walking across site to have to do!

I use my own toilet through the night, campsite toilets during the day. I do my washing up in the campsite facilities (unless it's just a glass and a bowl or something) as I don't want fats and little bits of food going into my waste water tank. I also like the bigger sink.

I tend to wash up in the Moho unless it’s something like the bbq, or if it’s a big load. Usually I’m washing up small amounts.

Having a reasonable sized sink was on my must list. We wipe/scrape everything first with a silicon spatula and have a strainer on the sink drain.

Spatula - That's a good idea! Could even add one to the cutlery for the meal :)

That's a good idea @Rosehip.

I might use campsite facilities in the day as they are often more spacious. Many of the places we chose to stay (aires and temporary sites) don't have facilities anyway.

We wash everything except the bbq in the Moho, but as our sink is so slow draining, I empty the washing up bowl in the grey waste disposal outside.

I’ll use the site loos at night if for #2’s.
