Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Despite it being a bit grey and wet here May got off to a good start with spots of Black and Arctic Terns, Sanderling and Grey Plover in amongst around 40 species including 7 different waders on this morning's walk. The Great Northern Diver didn't appear for me but apparently it's still here, though now in summer plummage and flying around so departure is imminent.

We were out most of the day and when we got back the LTT was still having a go at the windows. I wonder if he (I assume it was a he) was at it all day?

HowFar?
There was a bullfinch outside the kitchen window this morning, in the field at the back of the bungalow. I don't see many so I was delighted.

Then I saw another one on my cycle into Donegal this afternoon.

Orange tip butterflies were out in force as well, enjoying some spring sunshine.

bonners
Excitement on the bonners' feeders this morning, the siskin have been back on the feeders, been watching them off and on for twenty minutes

The fledgling blackbird is showing the same amount of intelligence as dad. Managed to get in the ground feeder, but couldn't work out how to get out!
