Sigh
My Fab thing for the day was finishing work at 2pm, then cooking a roast beef dinner for the family. Just rounded off with a mini-Magnum.

A wolverine is a member of the weasel family.

Thank you Sir David Attenborough for that

You do of course know the difference between a stoat and a weasel?

One is weasely recognisable and the other is stoataly different.

I'm afraid there's been quite a lack of fabulosity (not just in that joke) the last few days as I've been struggling valiantly (not submitting pathetically, honest) against the dreaded lurgy.

However, I think I'm turning the corner today, and so dB almost capable of appreciating not just my truly fabulous haul of birthday presents but also getting a few extra days at home with the Sam and the fur faces :D

thanks!

It was Sunday, and I did celebrate a the time (in fact, all weekend, really), but in slightly muted style thanks to the abominable head cold.

Truly fab surprise (well, not totaly a surprise, I knew she was sending *something*) - my bestie sent me a gorgeous orchid, which was waiting on my desk when I finally returned from my sickbed.

Also, as it's a wednesday, I have spent half the day sitting at different desk - one by a window, from which I can see genuine sunshine! it should lend a definite hint of fabulousness to my walk back to the apartment.
