Yes, gthey are well funky! I bought them especially for the 1 mile challenge :-) Well, they will be used for my marathon in October as well :-)

My quads are still a little tender after m y recovery ride, but that is more likely due to the fact that I could not resist getting out ofb the saddle and sprinting up the hills a few times...
