It’s going in for a service and check over tomorrow, so needed to get it today, and jump start the battery. It made me smile just driving it, although a little scary as it is so big... reversing into the tight spot at the local petrol station’s hand car wash was entertaining, but I haven’t lost it

We got paint on the newt ruck bed, it looks so much better now :D Also walked the honds around a few fields that we haven't for a little while and saw lots of little buds and tiny leaves, soon everything will explode into greenery. Tomorrow a load of slabs and sand should be delivered for the final stage of the hard landscaping in the garden - a new path and replacing some of the paving by the garage door and pond. Not sure that'll be all done by easter, though.

The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
