Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Great Picture Sharkie :-)

Those rolls look good - I do wish I could eat bread.

My newt for today was actually measuring myself before I ordered some new trousers to make sure I ordered the right size. Lets see if it works

I've just taken delivery of these. My *other*, non-Flanci, latest obsession

150 stitch markers for my knitting projects. I had to use paperclips the other night as I ran out when trying to sort out the shawl.

Don’t laugh but I use cut up plastic drinking straws as stitch markers, Aslong as they fit onto my needles! I keep them tied to a piece of wool in my knitting accessories bag 😂Anything bigger and I often use loops of wool as markers! 😂

A slightly belated newt for me today - writing down a proper training plan for the LCW 'Holland' half, which I realised is only 10 weeks away now!

No doubt it will have to be changed to accommodate things like pools and lakes opening again (or not) and whenever group rugby training is allowed to start again, but it's at least something to start with. And it's multicoloured.

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
