Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Finally got around to the second semi-final. Men's match was a good one although the better man won on the night. The ladies one was a close one but an unexpected result in my opinion.

I won't mention the finalists' names in case others have not yet seen the semi-finals.

To be fair, the names of the finalists won't necessarily give away the SF2 result, as one contender has had to pull out and be replaced by a fastest loser.

I had a good idea of who that might be. Now we have a rematch (I think) between two ladies who met in the heats and who have three fastest loser qualifications between them.

The men's final should be a cracker!

It's actually almost entirely a replay of the QF2 episode, but replacing the odious tongue-sticker Lewis with Mus.

So it's Joe v Mus, Amanda v Aneila - of those only Aneila has been a fastest runner up, but twice.

Not quite the “UK wide” tour it’s advertised as, I hope they expand if it’s successful

Why can't Mark Clattenberg say ready like a normal person? It's like he chews on the word :)

I'd love to, but I'd be squished (depending on the gladiator that might not be too awful)

Great final, shame about the Atlasphere F1 nonsense game - it's a spectacle, but not especially exciting and I'd rather have seen a proper Atlaspheres game or Powerball. I'm guessing there were insufficient male Gladiators to risk injury in Gauntlet (Nitro and Giant out injured, and no sign of Bionic tonight)
