I always have to replay the last few moves to figure out what was going on when I'm playing multi games.

I often do that even if it's a game I'm familiar with - reviewing my opponents last few moves (unless they are forced moves) can reveal a planned attack...

I do the replaying the last few moves thing.

I did briefly use the notes function, but it made me realise how useless I was at anticipating my opponents moves - and therefore served no purpose as my potential next moves went out the window.

Damn - thought I was doing okay in just one of this months league games, but now seem to have thrown away the advantage I briefly had.

Think I’m destined to be rubbish at chess forever :-(

Am actually now thinking that I was misguided in thinking I ever had an advantage just because I was up on material. I’ve been trying to look at the lessons and practice games, but still convinced I’m just too stupid to ever understand the game properly.

I have an illness. I’m not happy unless I’ve got a dozen games on the go.

Jenny, how do you use the notes? I haven't been able to add anything!

I go into the analysis option, then click into notes from there. This is using the chess.com website on my phone, I’ve never tried the notes function on the app.
