I know many people who would have no qualms in taking part in this for free drink and food.

Apparently our Town Hall meeting yesterday was particularly well attended (standing room only) because there was a free lunch thrown in.
I usually go to them but opted this time to go and buy M&S bedding instead. I felt it was a far better use of my time.

Dear colleagues,
Thank you for your patience this week when trying to use the Beta Lift. The crash deck for the West Room roof project has been entering the building via the lift - it will all be in by the end of today, Friday 1st December.
Unfortunately next week we’re due more disruption as the contractors need to bring in 125 @ 8x4’ sheets of 12mm plywood using the Beta Lift. I will be closing the lift off for staff and visitors between 09:30 – 12:30 on Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th December for the contractors. Barriers and signs will be in place on all floors giving information about the temporary closure. I have asked that the protective plastic inside the lift is replaced once the plywood is in the building as it’s looking shabby.
Please take care when entering and exiting the building via the Staff Entrance today and next week.
Any questions of queries please do get in touch.

That’s succinct. I had to do a 1 hour course on what constitutes a bribe. So glad I’m out of that nonsense.

What is that lamentable font which uses a lowercase "i" amongst otherwise uppercase latters? Those responsible should be disciplined sternly.
