Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Glad I ran yesterday. Would be running on the spot if I ran head on into this wind!

Dipps - thanks for the thought re Pilgrim. Checked it out despite my road preference but all sold out anyway.

Happy w/e & holidays if relevant :-) didn’t realise I’d missed the thread this morning. Happy SUP ing, MM. It’s ridiculously windy here so I tried to walk round the nearest sheltered rspb reserve earlier to play fetchpoint, had to turn back because 2 swan with one youngster wouldn’t let me past them on the narrow path & they weren’t moving, busy preening. I’m a wimp about swans ever since being threatened by them when sharing a lake. Did think about throwing an encouraging log in their direction, but fp is only a game & we were in a reserve!

Enjoy your holiday Caz.

Swim with the Tri club at the lake this morning. 15- 20 of us all SD, but very nice finally to get lots together and do some real actual training.

Have decide to restart Not a park run with DD2 tomorrow too. It sort of slipped out of our schedule over the last few months.

I went for a short run at lunchtime with a club mate. 3 miles, chatting the whole time, nice and easy. A route I run frequently, in shoes I run in not infrequently. Home, shower, lunch, sit down to work. Stand up about 30 mins later and my right lower calf just above the Achilles is as tight as a drum. WTF?

I’d be less surprised if it was my left leg as this is always tight, but my right leg usually behaves.

Guessing it’s a case of resting it for a few days?

I got out for a walk round the Head this afternoon, struggled against the wind a few times, it was very bracing though. :)
