Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

my watch time, will await official results and update. Wouldn't have liked it to be warmer, ran in constant drizzly damp conditions, which good for running but soaked through when I finished. The hill between 4 and 5 miles was hard going but overall its a lovely scenic course on quiet country roads with about 2 miles on forest tracks and trails. Slowed down on the muddy off-road bits but able to pick it up again on the road.
Helping a friend train for this race and willbe running round with her, so not sure I will be able to `race' it...will enjoy it anyway.

I started too quickly, trying to keep up with my clubmates. Then I started feeling good at 3 miles. Got to the hill before the 5 mile sign and had to walk! Then had to stop and get my breath back. Felt better after that and really enjoyed the last few miles. Very pleased with my time.
Will probably do this if I don't go to Donington for the MotoGP.... UPDATE: Didn't go to GP so ran this instead. Mixture of dry, drizzle & rain. Didn't really feel up for it though and struggled big time in first half, had a better second half. Good to meet up with a few Fetchies, even if I did only manage quick 'hiya's :-) Full race report in blog (when I can be bothered!).
