i will try to keep up with Robocop this time, a bit more training needed. :)** cracking time considering no training for 5 weeks **
northernslowcoach
can I get quicker??? yes I can!!! ended up as only girl in race 2, knew I'd be last but tucked in behind FML and just kept running! from LA's timekeeping I seemed to run fairly even splits - one very happy nsc!
Winniefree
Hoping to get a bit faster by then. - Yay - PB for me. Unfortunately I think I've also strained a quad. Oh well!
Lisrun
Hmmm cake :-) *Update* Bit windy and wet but great fun and fantastic cake :-)
TooLilac

Dave A
Sub 5. I will do it:)

Close but not quite. A PB tho :)
FML
Speed training a week before St Neots HM :) Race 2 was full of sharks.....lol.
hls
Thank you so much to everyone who bet on me and especially to NSC and Haddi for running that last 100m with me so I could achieve sub 10!! Woohoo. Sod the bloody rain!! :-) Fantastic people made for a fantastic afternoon!!
derooster
Chris Hoy said about the kilo (4 laps of a velodrome) to go out faster than you think you should then just hold on until the end. I applied this strategy to the mile today and it paid off. I'm really pleased with my time and the best thing is that the conditions were so bad, I can probably go faster.
Lapsed Athlete
I'm determined to get sub 8.30 after my last effort.

Don't know how I managed to get 8.18 as I've felt lousy most of the week and didn't feel great whilst running but heh if I can get that when I'm not on form what can I do when I am ..... we'll hopefully see in YFM 3 :-)
happy little vegemite
Yays! Much better than expected, paced by the Flying Policeman (and bliddy bossy he is too). Thanks Dave!
DeeGee
I reckon about 7:00 should do it...?

And it did!
WeebleNana
Not too shabby! Worth it for the cake afterwards :o)
Hamsterbolt
Coming back from injury, got a rubbish mile time But I have got a 5:52 1500m time.

ITS ON MY BIRTHDAY! :) :) :) :) :)
(Dedication)
Running Beard
Bit cold and wet, first time timed on a track so happy enough with my time even if 18 secs outside PB
