Meeting others for Elsie Too’s birthday swim/cake-nic. A Swizzels Squashie every two miles, and picked up a bottle of Luco that I’d hidden the day before at the 4.5 mile point. I was worried about running with a bottle for a long time, but it came with me until about 17 miles, and it was very handy to have it. Fuelling felt good. 15th mile was a toughie, but overall it felt pretty awesome. Could perhaps have gone a bit further, but it’s a nice step up.
