You can tell from the variation in pace which miles are net uphill, and which are net downhill. The last hill was a monster, thought I was going to throw up half way up!

Vicksta Felt like death with a really nasty cold. Probably shouldn't have run. Felt really weak after about 2 miles. Walked up two of the hills. The last hill was a killer. I looked behind me to see where the next lady was, and then walked til I could hear her breathe, and then sprinted off. Checked pace to make sure I could still PB even if I walked, and I could, so I did! The course was very scenic though, would have enjoyed it very much if I hadn't been feeling so rubbish. Still, a PB is a PB. Perfect conditions. Finished 10th woman. Harlow RC 36:18 36:18 39:00 38:20 63.21
Vindicator My prediction was almost correct - I got a PB. This was a hilly course, with each climb that came being worse than the one before it. The final climb was like being kicked in the stomach with not time to recover before attempting a sprint finish. The course was very scenic and am pleased with the result, given that I was not feeling 100% either. Harlow RC 33:17 33:42 34:41 34:14 62.84
