Lisrun Torrential rain, thunder and lightening when I arrived. It felt like it might be a repeat of Darlington 2003. Turned into light drizzle by the time we started. Very scenic route. First six miles were very tough, lots of climbs and steep descents which I did not enjoy. After 6 miles we had a view of the lake and descended gently to Grange. Then we came up the east side of Derwentwater going up and down all the time and dodging cars which was not too good. My splits are all over the place probably because of the hills. Engraved slate drink coaster for all finishers. May have pulled muscle when pushing for the line. Got bitten when running. 100 Marathon Club, North East Marathon Club 1:42:36 1:48:04 1:53:04 59.01
