We are a small and friendly running club based at Redcar Cricket Club and within easy reach of the beach and the surrounding hills. This gives a variation of training runs other than just the pavement and road.
Club Sessions
Wednesday
Meet at 6.20pm where we all wool-gather for a while before heading out on a variety of runs according to fitness levels and speed. There are a number of routes/distances offered to accommodate differing training needs and abilities plus the option of a 'quality run' incorporating lactic threshold sessions or tempo training etc. Once a month those who want to can go to a local sports track for interval training.

Informal longer run: We gather in the car-park on Majuba road (outside R-Kade) at 9.30am for a long, steady run. We run in groups and each determines their approximate route and distance according to their fitness/hang-over levels. Non-compulsory and we try to mix up the routes to take in hills and different terrain etc.
