compo Just looking forward to doing the distance - be nice to be able to do this routinely. Looking forward t the trail aspect in contrast to the old tarmac.
Time given here is chip to gun. Garmin time in training log is more accurate. Unaffiliated 2:30:36 2:30:36 2:42:13 2:51:00 38.82

emandbelle not going to be a pb for me. Plan to take it a bit easy and have a natter on the way. Will be looking to come in just under 3 hrs with Sharon. Forest of Dean AC 2:36:35 2:49:29 2:45:00 2:49:29 39.00
Gruntfuttock Did this last year. Did 1.49ish. Very wet & windy. Made the mistake of wearing trail shoes. Course is best in trainers even when wet. My hips and knees complained biterly! Still - it's in the book. Islwyn RC 1:59:00 1:59:00 1:49:00 1:59:00 50.14
Impossible is Nothing Good race in the end. Horrible weather conditions and took a chance with wearing racers on this Westbury Harriers 1:22:25 1:23:02 1:23:02 71.15

RunGaryRun Such a great race. Not often you get to run on good trail paths with such slick organisation, and a great downhill finish, totally mad legs going faster in the last mile than the previous 12!! If you are thinking about doing it, then I can recommend it. FERC 1:29:10 1:38:02 1:35:00 1:38:02 62.14
runnyeyes looking forward to not trying too hard! First time here..and really liked it..yah! for downhill second halves! The Forest was lovely, even on a grey day. Unaffiliated 1:55:26 2:12:00 2:10:00 2:12:00 54.25

sluggett Brill race. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The first 7-8 miles not so bad as I thought. All that hill training definitely paid off today. Pleased with my time as this is not a PB course. Chepstow Harriers 2:04:03 2:04:03 2:09:05 56.10
The Plod Ran a 5k race the day before and my legs were very tired in the last 3 miles. Rain was heavy. I found this hard as I had not done the distance in training to do 13 miles justice. San Domenico RC 1:24:34 1:24:34 1:32:47 66.74
treetop This was hard work. Uphill for about 7 miles then downhill to the finish. Hadn't done enough training so legs weren't up to the job. Disturbing end to the race with one runner clearly needing the paramedics. I really hope he is OK. Unaffiliated 1:44:53 1:52:21 1:52:21 53.81
tulip First half marathon in a long time and not feeling too confident. Just trying to get round will be the aim I think, and if I can do it without walking all the better (but that's a tall order). Looking forward to the downhill finish!!
This was very hard and I only just managed to complete the distance.... won't be doing this one again! Still, good exercise I suppose. FERC 2:20:28 2:27:40 2:40:00 2:45:38 39.90
