Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'm going to go for a twilight walk and come home to a bath. It feels like a good way to round off a busy week.

I have SAD, properdiagnosedbyapsychiatristandeverything SAD, getting out around midday, even on a dark and gloomy day, works wonders. Having a lightbox on for an hour in the early evening helps too.....I can’t have mine on for more than an hour, I get slightly manic if I do 😀

I’m planning to exercise for an hour at lunchtime too. Will make a big difference being able to do that now that I’m working at home all the time. Never used to see daylight on working days in the winter.

Hopefully will join in too. I am going back to work :-( (after extended matty leave) a week on Monday. Two days a week, so hopefully will manage to exercise and see some daylight those days. I have been enjoying getting out for a daily walk so will miss it.

I think it will do me good to be mindful of this, as I’ve been feeling a bit frayed round the edges this month. And I have done busy times to come with moving house and starting a new job.
