We’re hoping to go to the Bridlington site in September for Sewerby too :)

I see someone has already mentioned Kelling Heath and Sheringham (and I am sure there are other sites pretty close to Sheringham Park). I would certainly be up for a Fetchie meet up at Sheringham (although I would not be camping or caravanning myself!)

I don't know what the site is like but there is one near to Ormskirk parkrun and the soon to start Skelmersdale parkrun.

Only just spotted Fetch's question about open water swimming.

At Fell Foot we actively encourage people into the lake adjacent to the finish. There's an open water swimming club that operates from the park and changing facilities available if required (small charge - £2/day I think - applies)

Enjoy, SarahWoo and GimmeMedals. Sewerby is a good run. Bridlington site is neat and tidy (if a bit exposed to the wind still in the "new" half), even if the town is well past it's prime!

And another one... Poolsbrook parkrun has a Caravan & Motorhome Club Site in the country park where it runs. About 500 metres from the door to the start, and even less back from the finish!

Easy running too. 3 and a bit laps off the lake on a good path.

I'd like to do a bit more parkrun touristing, but also fitting it in with our motorhome travels...
