I would certainly be up for a Fetchie meet up at Sheringham (although I would not be camping or caravanning myself!)

At Fell Foot we actively encourage people into the lake adjacent to the finish. There's an open water swimming club that operates from the park and changing facilities available if required (small charge - £2/day I think - applies)

About 500 metres from the door to the start, and even less back from the finish! Easy running too. 3 and a bit laps off the lake on a good path.
