Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Being underneath the air con vent so when people moan it's too warm, I get hit with a blast of arctic air so everyone else can cool off.

FFS. I like it toasty and if you're all so cr@p at regulating your own body heat, go out and do some exercise so you're better at it.

The word 'Brexit'. Even if I were anti-Europe (which I'm not) this would be driving me wild.

The guard on my train announcing when it will arrive in Alton (the end of the line). I don't give a shit. I don't live in Alton and neither do 90% of the other passengers (probably).

Soft-arse people in the office who haven't realised that if they wore appropriate clothing they might not need to put tons of heaters on.You can wear extra layers - I cannot wear less!

There's no heating in the lab (where I spend most of my time) but the office is like an oven and the boss has his windows wide open creating an icy draft!
J is always cold but never wears a jumper, S is always hot (or so she says).
